Disclaimer & User Responsibilities

Please read this disclaimer carefully before using XeroLite. By using XeroLite, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

Learn more about XeroLite: Visit the XeroLite landing page for product information, features, and pricing.

Ensure TWS is Active

It is the user's responsibility to ensure that their Trader Workstation (TWS) is up and running at all times when using XeroLite.

  • If TWS is not operational, orders will not be placed
  • XeroLite cannot be held responsible for missed trades due to TWS being offline
  • Users should monitor TWS status regularly
  • Consider using automated monitoring tools or alerts to notify you if TWS goes offline

Recommendation: Set up system monitoring to ensure TWS remains active, especially during active trading hours.

No Guarantee of Profit

XeroLite only facilitates the process of placing orders based on your configured alerts. We do not guarantee any profits or financial gains from using this software.

  • Trading carries inherent risks
  • Results depend on your trading strategies and market conditions
  • Past performance does not guarantee future results
  • You may lose money trading, even with automated systems
  • Always trade with funds you can afford to lose

Important: Never risk more than you can afford to lose. Use proper risk management techniques and position sizing.

User-Configuration

All trading decisions and order configurations in XeroLite are entirely determined by the user’s chosen strategies and alert setups.

  • Every order sent through XeroLite reflects user-defined parameters and strategy logic
  • XeroLite does not shape or alter your order decisions in any manner
  • Users are solely accountable for configuring, reviewing, and validating all strategy and order details
  • Carefully check and test alert messages and strategy logic—start with paper trading whenever possible
  • Always confirm symbols, quantities, prices, and all other relevant order data before live trading

Recommendation: Leverage the Alert Request Builder to compose and verify your strategy-driven alert messages before use.

Responsibility for Monitoring

Users must actively monitor their accounts, orders, and system performance.

XeroLite provides tools to automate order placement, but it is the user's responsibility to:

  • Monitor account balances and positions
  • Review executed orders and their outcomes
  • Check system logs for errors or warnings
  • Verify that orders are being placed correctly
  • Manage risk and take corrective actions when needed
  • Ensure network connectivity and system uptime
  • Keep XeroLite and TWS updated to the latest versions

Automation does not replace oversight. Even with automated systems, regular monitoring is essential for successful trading.

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any losses, delays, or failed executions due to:

  • Technical issues with XeroLite, TradingView, or Interactive Brokers
  • Network failures or connectivity problems
  • Misconfigurations in your alert settings
  • Incorrect order parameters in your alerts
  • Market conditions or exchange issues
  • System downtime or maintenance
  • User error or negligence
  • Third-party service interruptions

Use XeroLite at your own risk. The software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

System Requirements, Provided Infrastructure, and User Responsibility

  • XeroLite Cloud Edition includes managed infrastructure such as a dedicated VPS and pre-installed software environment.
  • Users are still responsible for ensuring their own local devices and Interactive Brokers TWS setup meet the System Requirements.
  • Although Xerolite provides the cloud infrastructure, users must thoroughly test the stability and efficiency of the system using paper trading or simulations before placing live trades or real orders.
  • Only proceed with live trading once you are fully confident in the system’s performance and suitability for your needs.
  • XeroLite must be compatible with your TWS version and broker setup.
  • Keep all related software (TWS, TradingView, browsers) updated to the latest versions.

Important: We are not liable for any incidents, losses, or damages resulting from device malfunctions, system instability, or inadequate testing on your part. Always verify stability and reliability before live use.

Data and Security

  • Users are responsible for securing their API keys and credentials
  • Do not share your webhook URL or API keys with unauthorized parties
  • Use IP Whitelisting to restrict access
  • Regularly review and update security settings
  • We are not responsible for unauthorized access due to user negligence

Compliance and Regulations

  • Users are responsible for compliance with all applicable trading regulations
  • Ensure your trading activities comply with local laws and regulations
  • Interactive Brokers' terms and conditions apply to all trades
  • XeroLite does not provide legal or financial advice

Support and Updates

  • We provide support through official channels ([email protected])
  • Response times may vary based on support volume
  • We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue features
  • XeroLite Cloud Edition is updated by Xeroflex; users are responsible for keeping their own tools (such as TWS and TradingView) updated
  • Check Release Notes for important updates and changes
